On the one hand, departments such as the Central Financial and Economic Commission and the National Development and Reform Commission have focused on the problem of low price and disorderly competition among enterprises, accelerated the revision of the Price Law, and improved the regulatory system; On the other hand, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television has launched a heavy blow to comprehensively clean up false medical advertisements and strengthen social supervision. 一、 Special Action on Low Price Disorderly Competition Governance
1. Policy deployment
On July 1, 2025, the sixth meeting of the Central Committee for Finance and Economics explicitly required the "governance of low price and disorderly competition among enterprises in accordance with laws and regulations".
On July 24, 2025, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly released the "Draft Amendment to the Price Law (Draft for Comments)", which includes the following core revisions:
(1) Expand the scope of low price dumping determination to "goods and services";
(2) Prohibit forcing other operators to sell below cost price;
(3) Intensify the punishment for price violations.

2. Enforcement Promotion
On August 1, 2025, the National Development and Reform Commission announced at a press conference that it will:
(1) Conduct cost investigations in key industries and crack down on "internal competition" of low prices;
(2) Guide enterprises to set prices scientifically and regulate market order.
(3) Next step plan: Accelerate the revision of the Price Law, clarify the criteria for determining low price dumping, and focus on addressing the sales behavior of excluding competitors at prices below cost.
二、 Centralized rectification of false medical advertisements
1. Rectification arrangements
On August 1, 2025, the National Radio and Television Administration held a meeting to officially launch a concentrated crackdown on false advertising in the pharmaceutical industry. The centralized rectification work will be promoted in two stages:
Phase 1 (by the end of December 2025): Eliminate false medical advertisements on provincial satellite TV channels and simultaneously rectify local stations;
Phase 2 (by the end of June 2026): Comprehensively clean up advertisements on city/county-level TV stations to prevent a rebound in provincial-level TV stations.
2. Social supervision mechanism
From August 8, 2025, multi-channel complaints (telephone, email, official website, official account) will be opened, and the provincial radio and television bureaus will simultaneously announce the reporting entrance.
