Strontium fluoride is a neutral salt with high water solubility. It reacts with calcium carbonate in the dentin to form strontium carbonate (SrCO3), and at the same time, reacts with hydroxyapatite in the dentin to form Sr Ca HAP, also known as hydroxystrontium hydroxyapatite Ca3 (PO4) 2Sr (OH) 2. It accelerates the formation of secondary dentin, blocks the opening of small tubules in dentin, and re covers the tubules, reducing the permeability of hard tissues in teeth and enhancing their anti allergic ability.
